I'm a professional guitarist from Adelaide, South Australia who works regularly with interstate and international clients. My main instruments are electric and acoustic guitars, mandolin, banjo and ukulele and bass guitar. I'm proficient and authentic in a broad range of genres - pop, rock, country, jazz, soul, worship/gospel. As a live performer, I've spent the best part of 20 years working freelance within musical theatre, orchestras and supporting artists across the country and internationally, working with artists such as Shoshana Bean, Casey Donovan, Rob Mills, Josh Piterman, Bob Downe and Debra Byrne. I've also played countless pubs, bars and weddings in working band scenarios, with a memory bank of 100s of cover tunes from classic to current. I've also become accomplished as a 'one man band' acoustic guitarist, from sensitive, exposed fingerstyle to driving pop and rock. I'm never afraid of a duo performance, even if the performer and I have never worked together, such is my attention to sonic detail. I record regularly from my professional home studio in Adelaide, using an array of mics and preamps to record parts for artists, producers and composers for game, tv and film. I'm also comfortable as a recording engineer and mixer, so my clients receive edited parts that are well recorded. Credits include #1 Hits, TV placements (ABC iView Lullaby with Electric Fields), advertising jingles for Stratco, SA Water, Australian Outdoor Living and more. As a sight reading guitarist, I'm often in the hybrid setting of traditional orchestras playing commercial music, or within a theatre scenario so I have a thorough understanding of guitar amp and effect programming and emulation to replicate required sounds from records or film. Recent productions: ' Albums/tracks of interest I have produced or played on: 'Gravity' - Jemma Rix (musical theatre, pop, rock) - arranged, recorded, mixed, produced, guitars 'Always Christmas' - Sally Cameron (big band) - recorded, produced, mixed, guitars 'Back For a Day' - Matt Cornell (country)- guitars 'Quirky Bezerky' - Peter Combe (kids) - guitars
