The Stage Roster — Terms of Service

By creating an account or purchasing a membership on The Stage Roster, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Community Guidelines.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not create an account or use the platform.

The Stage Roster is a paid professional directory and networking platform.

Membership is available at AUD $12 per month or AUD $99 per year, billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Unless otherwise stated, cancellation will take effect at the end of your current paid billing period, and you will retain access to the platform until that time.

Membership provides access to The Stage Roster platform and its available features. Membership does not include or guarantee any job, audition, booking, engagement, employment, representation, or paid work.

The availability of opportunities may vary and there may be periods when no relevant opportunities are posted or available.

Users are responsible for ensuring that the information contained in their profiles is accurate, current, and appropriate for publication.

Users grant The Stage Roster a licence to display their profile and content for the purposes of operating and promoting the platform and, where the user has selected public visibility, to make that profile available to members of the public and industry professionals and potentially to search engines.

Users must not post false, misleading, defamatory, unlawful, or infringing content.

Users should only include information in their profiles that they are comfortable making publicly accessible.

Users agree to interact respectfully and professionally with other members and users of the platform.

Harassment, spam, impersonation, fraudulent activity, abuse of messaging features, or other misuse of the platform is prohibited and may result in suspension or removal of an account.

Your use of The Stage Roster is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and otherwise handle personal information.

Users should review the Privacy Policy before creating an account or providing personal information through the platform.

Users may request deletion of their account at any time.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account where we reasonably believe that the user has breached these Terms, our Community Guidelines, applicable law, or has otherwise misused the platform.

Termination or deletion of an account does not necessarily entitle a user to a refund for a current or previous membership period, except where required by applicable law.

The Stage Roster provides a platform through which talent and industry professionals may create profiles, showcase skills and experience, communicate, and discover potential opportunities.

The Stage Roster does not control or guarantee the conduct, representations, decisions, availability, or performance of users, employers, producers, contractors, casting professionals, or other third parties using the platform.

Professional arrangements, including auditions, bookings, employment, contracts, fees, payments, and engagements, are made directly between the relevant parties.

To the extent permitted by law, The Stage Roster is not responsible for agreements, engagements, payments, disputes, representations, or other arrangements entered into directly between users and third parties.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights, guarantees, warranties, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified under applicable law.

The Stage Roster provides a space for emerging talent and industry professionals to showcase their skills, experience, availability, and professional profiles and to potentially connect with industry professionals and work opportunities as they become available.

Membership provides access to the platform and its available features and does not include or guarantee any job, audition, booking, engagement, employment, representation, or paid work.

By joining the platform, users acknowledge and accept that there may be times when no jobs, auditions, engagements, or other work opportunities are posted or available. Opportunities may be limited, irregular, or unavailable at any time.

The platform is also intended to provide talent with a professional presence and an opportunity to showcase their skills and experience and to align themselves with the broader music theatre and entertainment industry.

Jobs, auditions, engagements, and availability notices may be posted by members of the community or advertised directly by producers, employers, contractors, casting professionals, or other authorised users as opportunities become available.

The Stage Roster does not guarantee the number, frequency, suitability, duration, location, remuneration, or availability of any opportunity posted on the platform.

Being listed on the platform, creating a profile, responding to an opportunity, or being contacted through the platform does not guarantee employment, a booking, audition, engagement, representation, or any other form of work.

All hiring and engagement decisions are made independently by the relevant employer, producer, contractor, casting professional, or other hiring professional.

Users are responsible for reviewing opportunities and making their own decisions regarding any employment, booking, audition, contract, or engagement.

Users are encouraged to keep their profiles, skills, experience, availability, and other relevant information up to date so they can potentially be considered for suitable opportunities as they arise.

Profiles may be publicly accessible through the site, allowing members of the general public and industry professionals to view the information provided. Users should only include information in their profiles that they are comfortable making publicly available.

The Stage Roster does not guarantee that any particular number or type of jobs, auditions, engagements, or other opportunities will be available during any membership period.

The presence or absence of opportunities does not constitute a failure to provide membership access where the platform and the features included in the applicable membership remain available.

Opportunities are provided for discovery and consideration only and do not constitute an offer of employment by The Stage Roster.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the platform, our services, or applicable legal requirements.

Where appropriate, we will provide notice of material changes.

Continued use of the platform after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Australia.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit rights or protections available to consumers under applicable Australian law.
