About
Xia Lian is a proud POC performer who recently graduate of the inaugural Bachelor of Music Theatre at Sydney Conservatorium of Music. She has also been a student of TheatreBridge and participated in the Rob Guest Endowment Performer Workshop in 2025. Xia Lian is no stranger to the stage, her most notable Musical Theatre credits include Jane Doe in 'Ride the Cyclone' (Rising Arts 2026), Cinderella in ‘Into the Woods’ (Syd Con 2024), Mrs Andersson in 'A Little Night Music' (Hayes, 2023), 'Everything is Sh*t' (Garden Party Creatives, 2024) and Johanna Barker in 'Sweeney Todd' (Arcadians, 2021). Xia Lian was the Musical Director for 'Gypsy' with North Shore Theatre Company (2025) and ‘The Addams Family’ with Sydney Girls and Sydney Boys High School (2025). Xia Lian is currently a member of Sydney Philharmonia Choir’s VOX choir, as well as the National Youth Choir of Australia. She has made appearances on ‘NCIS Sydney’ in March 2025, as well as ‘Playschool’ with Nikki Webster in July 2024, and ‘TripleJ’ with Rapper ‘AllDay’ in June 2024. She has experience in children's theatre, having co-led multiple productions with Adventure Kids Entertainment to educate children on recycling and sustainability through interactive music and movement.
