Ryan Murphy is an emerging Performer and Writer/Director based in Sydney, NSW. He graduated from the Elder Conservatorium of Music in 2025 with a Bachelor of Music Theatre degree. During this time he was able to be a supernumerary for GWB’s A Christmas Carol in Melbourne, as well as multiple productions for The Australian Ballet. He has also done work in Children’s Entertainment performing in Bluey’s Big Play at the Royal Adealide Show 2024, and Perform Educations ‘Something Special’ 2026 Book Week Tour. At University his Musical THeatre Credits included: - The Baker & Assistant Music Director (Into the Woods - dir. Miranda Middleton) - J.B Biggley (How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying - dir. Erin James) - The Mad Hatter (Alice by Heart - dir. Erin James) - Bobby Mills (A Chorus Line - dir. Matthew Hyde). He is also currently writing my first full musical called ‘Handball: The Musical’ which is set to premiere at the 2027 Adelaide Fringe Festival. He is also proudly represented by Kermond Management.
