About
Mirusia is an Australian-Dutch soprano, recording artist and producer with an international career spanning almost two decades. A graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium with a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice, she was the youngest ever recipient of the Dame Joan Sutherland Opera Award before being discovered by André Rieu online and joining his Johann Strauss Orchestra as his star soprano. From 2007–2018, Mirusia toured extensively throughout Europe, the UK, North and South America, South Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, performing in some of the world’s leading concert venues and appearing on internationally released television specials, DVDs and recordings. Now an established solo artist touring internationally as a soloist, Mirusia has released twelve albums, achieved multiple No.1 ARIA Classical and Classical Crossover chart positions, and continues to tour internationally. She is also an experienced concert producer, presenter and artist mentor, and is Founder and Director of Mirusia Productions.
