About
Billy Bourchier is an Australian tenor and musical theatre performer with over a decade of experience across major Australian and international productions. He graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium in 2014 with a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre and has since built a diverse career spanning musical theatre, opera, concerts and cabaret. Billy’s professional credits include the Australian and international productions of Les Misérables, where he served as the first Marius cover, and The Book of Mormon, in which he performed over 750 shows on tour. Other highlights include playing Tony in West Side Story on Sydney Harbour, performing in Miss Saigon and touring Australia with Sunset Boulevard. Most recently, Billy appeared in the Australian production of Anastasia during 2025–2026. Alongside his work in major productions, Billy has developed a passion for cabaret and storytelling through song. His shows include The Corner of Brisbane & Broadway and Songs From A Suitcase, a personal cabaret reflecting on his experiences navigating the performing arts industry, life on the road and the meaning of home. Beyond the stage, Billy is a husband, father, and his work as a performance coach continues to shape his perspective on performance & storytelling.
